November Church Software Updates
Before we stuff ourselves with turkey... here are 3 updates to our church software that you'll be thankful for.
TLDR: A revamped church reports engine, dedicated unknown donation tracking, and church volunteer emailing directly from a scheduling event.
New Church Reports Engine
We've laid the framework for a new reporting engine in ChurchTrac. Reports will carry a more modern look while including additional sorting and settings options.
Here are reports that have already been updated...
- People: Individual List Report
- Giving: Giving History
- Giving: Giving Totals by Date
- Giving: Category Overview
- Giving: Category Detail by Date
- Giving: Month-by-Month Category Analysis
Additional reports will roll out in the coming weeks.
Recording Unknown Church Donations
When it came to recording tithes from unknown donors like the offering plate or donation box, you would just assign them to a person in your church database called something like "cash" or "unknown".
Now you can add donations to a giving batch date that are unknown. It's the little things!
Email Church Volunteers For a Specific Event
You can now email your team(s) directly from a worship service/event.
You have the option to email a specific teams as well as email people based on their scheduling status. This is perfect for alerting the band that you did a last minute key change or reminding your children's ministry volunteers about the Christmas toy drive!
