Who Can Register For Events?

When creating an event registration in your church calendar, you can enable registrations for anyone or limit registrations to Connect Users.

Registrants will NOT have to complete a reCAPTCHA
Credit Card information can be saved for future use
No need to enter email or name information for every registration
Connect Users can view upcoming registered events
Enhanced payment security

Advantages of allowing anyone to register

Registrants do not have to create a Connect User Account
Registrants do not count towards your name tier in ChurchTrac
There is less friction for individuals to register

Which should you use?

For repeat events in which most of the registrants are already church members, limiting registrations to Connect Users may be ideal. Some examples are mid-week dinners, a prayer breakfast, a women's bible study, and more.

For events in which many registrants are NOT already Connect Users, it's best to allow registrations for "Anyone". VBS, Summer Camp, and Concerts are great examples of this.
