They have a massive library of resources. The sheer size of their library makes Logos a tool that every pastor and Bible scholar should consider. While there is a charge for most of what's in their library, they regularly offer sales and bundles.

Their resource library includes:

1. Commentaries - Logos offers an extensive collection of commentaries from renowned scholars and theologians. You'll have access to a wide range of perspectives, historical insights, and theological interpretations. I've used Logos for this reason more than any other.
2. Lexicons and Original Language Tools - If you're interested in the original languages of the Bible, Logos provides a robust set of lexicons and original language tools. This feature allows users to explore the nuances of Greek and Hebrew words.
3. Historical and Cultural Resources - Though I've used the commentaries more than anything else, the historical and cultural resources are my favorite. You'll gain insights into the historical context of biblical events and the cultural nuances that shape the interpretation of scripture.

If you're reading a passage and want to learn more about a topic in that passage, you can use the mobile app to quickly find more information in their library. It's amazing!

Logos allows users to arrange and organize their study materials according to personal preferences.

Other apps lock you into how they've structured their content. I didn't realize how much this hindered my use of other Bible apps until I made the Logos app tailored to the way I like to organize study material.

Interconnected Bible Reading

Logos has helped me tremendously with something I'm not good at: Connecting passages of Scripture together.

Every study Bible I use has cross-references that help me quickly find other passages that relate to what I'm reading. Logos does that for me within Bible verses. I just tap on a verse when I'm using the iPhone or iPad and away I go! This helps me see the bigger picture God paints with Scripture as I study the Bible.

Reading Plans and Other Study Tools

Logos offers a variety of reading plans and devotionals. The Youversion Bible app has several as well, but I've found the ones in Logos to take me deeper in my faith. You can pick a devotional and enjoy it on your iPhone anywhere!

Community Notes and Collaboration
